Karen’s Background

Karen Laurence’s 20 years of experience working in the real estate industry, as a consultant, has provided her with considerable expertise focusing on first-time home-buyers, luxury purchases, probate properties, foreclosures & short sales, divorce selling situations, and new construction. Presently a Sales Associate with Keller Williams Realty, Karen has forged a reputation of achieving consistent yearly record results in residential closings throughout her career. Besides her past achievements in the real estate business, Karen held professional licenses as Technical Real Estate Instructor, Real Estate Agent, Mortgage Broker, Insurance Agent, and Notary Public.

An involved member of the community and a networking professional,, Karen has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Women’s Council of Realtors, Center for Business & Professional Women, and The Builder’s Institute. She currently is a member and Ambassador for the Delray Chamber and has helped Charities such as Bound for College and Eat and Be Well. Karen has written articles for The Pineapple Newspaper regarding real estate topics.

Karen Laurence also participated in various teaching and mentoring programs aimed at helping educate professional women, and men about the real estate and the mortgage business. Karen received her B.A. from The University of Miami where she majored in Psychology and Minored in Mass Communications. Prior to starting her real estate career, Karen held teaching and management positions with Huntington Learning Centers and the National Association for Professional Women.
